Speaking of the "Posta" means talking about the history of the Manaigo Family, the bond has always lasted, since Silvestro Manaigo (1769-1831, son of Pietro "Nonzolo" sacristan of the Parish Church), obtained the license from the Community of Ampezzo to manage tavern. The concession, which would have lasted six years, with the possibility of renewal, begins on November 1, 1804 and should have expired on October 30, 1810, but history will say more: renewal in renewal that license has arrived until today.
Born in 1835 as a refreshment place for postal coaches, the Hotel de la Poste in Cortina, nowadays a historic site of Italy, has made of hosting its most important value.
