The tradition of hospitality in the heart of the Dolomites
Way back in 1835, the position of Receiver of the I.R. «Post and Messages» fell to Gottardo Manaìgo, who converted his already accommodating house to offer hospitality to the travelers arriving on his horse drawn carriages.From that time the Manaìgo Family, from generation to generation, has improved the fitting and furnishings of the «Posta», enlarging and modernizing the inn according to the requirements of the times.
Today the Hôtel de la Poste offers its guest a sure and deeply rooted tradition; recently fully renovated, it has splendid lounges, charming bedrooms, many of them with balconies, excellent and renowned dining facilities, a celebrated American bar.
Central but quiet thanks to the pedestrian precinct, the Hôtel de la Poste is a focal point of the life of Cortina d'Ampezzo.ta".
